e2x has a long history of delivering internet-technology based systems: from B2C internet systems, to B2B extranet systems, to E2E intranet systems. e2x consultants have been delivering large-scale, highly-transaction, mission-critical internet-technology systems since 1994 and all of the e2x partners have run other businesses that delivered and were built on such systems.
e2x believes that there is a natural fit between a sustainable agile project process and systems based on internet technology. As user's expectatations of what internet, extranet and intranet systems can do for them change, so too do the objectives and requirements for the system. Dealing with rapidly changing requirements in a manner that is low-risk is one of the core strengths of an agile approach.
e2x has particular experience of delivering systems based on the ATG product set. We also have a great deal of experience working with other Java-based application servers (both commercial and open-source), Microsoft .Net technology, webservices technology, numerous content management systems, messaging and 'legacy integration' systems, and other technologies necessary to produce large-scale, highly-transaction, mission-critical systems.
