Developer
Your proven Java, Javascript J2EE, HTML and SQL development skills will be matched by your knowledge of test driven development, Agile and XP. You need to be able to prove your enthusiasm for enterprise software development and passion to deliver with an absolute focus on business need. If you have experience of ATG then that is definitely a bonus but if you are a recent graduate eager to learn or have proven your value in your current role and are looking for the next challenge then we would be delighted to hear from you. e2x provides developers with a supportive environment in which you will always be learning and given the opportunity to grow (we like to grow our own architects). We are not a big company despite our reputation for delivering unrivalled quality systems - at e2x we definitely believe in quality over quantity. Frontend developer
e2x is creative but we are not a creative consultancy, we are a development house. We work closely with design agencies on certain projects but add value by ensuring that the technology works, allowing that amazing UX to be underpinned by systems that don't compromise business need. Our frontend developers are integrated into e2x Agile delivery teams, often pairing with developers or QA testers, providing those key CSS, Javascript, and HTML skills but with real working knowledge of Java and JSP. Your Photoshop skills and understanding of content managed systems is a given. As with all e2x roles, we are interested in the right person over levels of experience as we invest in our people so if you are ready for a rewarding challenge in a supported environment then we would love to hear from you.
QA tester
We never compromise on quality - we don't ship code that isn't rigorously tested. Our QA team is integrated into our development process throughout project delivery, never as an after thought. Your passion for finding every possible defect via a mixture of automated and manual testing will be as important as your ability to work closely with a client side QA lead while being integrated into the internal e2x development team. You will be using the same systems and same processes used to drive our Agile process so your ability to deal with change will be clear. As with all e2x roles, we are interested in the best tallent and recognise that raw skills can be honed so if you are fresh out of college or university and can show that you have the ability to thrive then get in touch. Similarly, if you are an experienced or senior tester looking for a fresh challenge then we would love to see your CV.
Project Manager
e2x is all about delivery so an e2x project manager will be absolutely focused on the development team. We are rigorous in our adherence to Agile development and mix this with pragmatic use of Prince II derived governance. We require a flexible approach to project management to go hand in hand with an understanding that client side project sponsors, business managers and project teams must get the reports and documentation they need. e2x project managers have opportunity to develop through involvement in other aspects of our work, whether that be business development, account management or systems development. Our project managers all have the ability to explain technology concepts to non-technical people and business concepts to technical teams and as such clear communication skills are a must.
