e2x consultants were the first people to establish and run agile development projects in the UK, with the first eXtreme Programming project run in 1997. All three e2x partners have run previous businesses that delivered products and solutions using agile processes and practices so we understand what it means to make commitments to deliver using an agile approach.
From the very start e2x has focussed on making agile project management and development practices work outside the agile 'comfort zone' of a short project with a small team and a single customer. We have run long agile projects, with large teams, multiple customers and suppliers (including offshore outsourcing). We have delivered using an agile approach within environments where long-term predictability and board-level visibility are of almost as much concern as delivering software.
Despite our commitment to an agile approach, we never lose sight of what is important: the benefits to the customer of delivering better, faster, smarter software. It is these outcomes that our clients are looking for and our agile delivery approach is designed specifically to help them achieve this.
